Celebrity stylist, Monica Rose, known for styling The Kardashians, Giuliana Rancic and more, recently began sharing photos of her adorable girl Alaia on her blog and on Instagram. I believe a collective “awwww” can be heard around the world as soon as her pictures show up.
Be sure to check out Monica Rose’s blog for more photos of Alaia (I’m sure she’ll post more) and ocular fashion delights.
McQ by Alexander McQueen spring 2012 lookbook
Gone is the traditional English foundation, the tartan and lace; for spring 2012 McQ by Alexander McQueen is seemingly Texas bound.
Sarah Burton’s designs maintain their femininity through strictly cinched-in waists, as is customary, but this time she adds a 50s rockabilly meets Western flavour. Metal-tipped collars, ribbon neck ties, embroidery, and denim all play a part in this cowgirl scene, smashed together with modern touches like perforated leather – or metallic leathers that are licked with flames and look set for a Vegas stage. An unusual deviation from the British themes of McQueen, but one likely to prove popular for its tough-yet-feminine on trend elements.

CHANEL SPRING/SUMMER 2013 RESORT COLLECTION
Karl Lagerfeld presented the 2013 Chanel resort collection at Versailles today - taking inspiration from the paintings of Antoine Watteau, he created a quality collection that could we’d like to describe as Marie Antoinette meets rocker chick meets a pastel painted pallet.
Uncle Karl brought a lot of crazy to the looks this time around, but we actually LOVE quite a few of the classic pieces (when you mentally break them down); the florals and rococo silhouettes, the colors. Though it’s a little out there for Chanel’s taste, we really dig this 18th century France meets 2013 vibe. Check out footage of the full show (above)!
